My first font submission to DA
Drawn from my deck of Hoyle Playing Cards, this includes anything you would need to make your own cards. It can be used for fan images [put your lil anime drawing in a card!], for use in a [non-comercial] game, and more...
This set has:
Symbols:
Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, Spade, Club, Diamond, Heart.
Larger '
ictures':
Standard Jack, One Eye'd Jack, 2 Queens, Standard King, King with the 'knife in its head', Joker, and a Large Hoyle Spade.
I've tried to make it easy to figure out. The key is you almost only use your left hand for use [in a standard QWERTY keyboard].
I hope everyone enjoys. If you use it, let me know!!! I want to see what people use it for
And as always, Comments/fav's much appreaciated! Thanks.

First, you want to know what people use it for. My wife's 52nd birthday is coming up in about 6 months. I've come up with "52 things I like about my wife". I've found a source for pre-scored cards (kind of like the Avery business card forms). I'm going to print up a deck of 52 cards, with each card having one of those 52 things in the body of the card.
Now for my suggestion. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with your statement above that "this includes anything you would need to make your own card". In order for it to have *everything* you need, you would have to include upside down images for all the symbols, to go in the lower right corner of the card. I'm using MS Excel, and there's no way to rotate text 180 degrees. (I don't think MS Word has this feature, either.)
Other than that, I think your fonts are great. If you choose not to add upside down symbols, then I think I'll just have to leave the lower right ones off. That will be "okay", just not as good as if I had them.
Why deviantart quite having fonts is a dumb
idea.
Great work.
i used your font here [link]
I appreciate your interest, the link is also found in the description

Just to tnx for ur nice job!
#k.
Thanks, Ray
One thing, though - the file downloads as a '.tff', when it should be a '.ttf', shouldn't it? I had to change the extension to get it to work...
Anyway, great font! Hopefully, I'll be able to put it to use before too awful long
I've just always thought there should be a hoyle font... and I never found one, so I made it
